The Frenchman Romain Guillaume received the triathlon microbe from his dad who is also a triathlon coach. In 2009 Romain became pro, and in 2012 he made his full breakthrough as a triathlete by winning the 70.3 Mont-Tremblant.
In 2014 he finished in 10th place at the Ironman Hawaii and in 2017 he was victorious in the Ironman 70.3 South-Africa and Ironman Malaysia. We are delighted Romain starting 2018 will defend the Itzu colours. To have him on the team is a great upgrade in experience and international prestige. He already started 2018 in an excellent way as he won the Ocean Lava Half Triathlon Tenerife for the second year in a row. His main objective for 2018 is a top 10 finish in Ironman Kona, Hawaii.
